Josh Marass is a seasoned investor and strategic advisor with over a decade of experience in mergers and acquisitions and private equity. As the Founder and Managing Partner of Dane Equity, Josh leads with a hands-on approach to sourcing, investing in, and scaling high-potential ventures.
Before founding Dane Equity, Josh spent 10 years conducting due diligence on M&A projects, where he developed a deep expertise in deal structuring, financial analysis, and operational strategy. This experience laid the foundation for his success in the investment space, where he has since played a pivotal role in the investment and exit of more than five companies as part of the firm's growing portfolio.
A graduate of Southern Methodist University, Josh blends technical rigor with strategic insight, making him a trusted partner for founders, operators, and investors alike. His investment philosophy centers on identifying undervalued assets and supporting founder-led or family-run businesses.
Under his leadership, Dane Equity continues to focus on identifying new investments, while maintaining a commitment to delivering sustainable growth and strong returns for its stakeholders.
William Dahlstrom
Will Dahlstrom is a proven operational leader, graduate of the United States Military Academy, and combat veteran with nearly two decades of experience helping businesses scale and optimize for growth. He has partnered with organizations across industries to drive operational efficiency, align leadership teams, and create sustainable systems for long-term success.
With deep expertise in the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) and a track record as a focused Integrator, Will excels in building clarity, prioritizing execution, and driving measurable results for leadership teams. His leadership journey includes serving as Chief Operating Officer for companies navigating rapid expansion, strategic transitions, and operational challenges.
As an Operating Partner, Will leverages his military discipline, operational expertise, and EOS knowledge to deliver value creation, operational excellence, and leadership development — maximizing investor returns while building stronger organizations.
Andrew Mayville
Andrew Mayville is an Associate Operating Partner at Dane Equity, where he partners with portfolio company leadership teams to build strong teams, optimize operating processes, and drive disciplined, scalable growth.
A U.S. Army Special Forces veteran with 16 years of service, Andrew led high-performing teams in complex and high-pressure environments where clarity, accountability, and execution determined outcomes. He is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point and a Kellogg Executive MBA candidate, blending practical leadership experience with formal business training.
His experience includes senior operational leadership roles within private equity-backed organizations, where he focused on strengthening leadership teams, improving operational efficiency, refining sales and service processes, and installing performance-driven operating rhythms. He is growth-minded and execution-focused, helping organizations translate strategy into measurable results.
